What is IQIC?
IQIC is International Quantitative Innovation Challenge, a quantitative-computing challenge for students with quantitative finance as its inaugural flagship application.
Who is it for?
Current format targets students ages 13–17 globally. The exact age-measurement date remains unresolved until official rules.
How large can a team be?
Current format allows solo entries and teams of one to four, including cross-school and cross-country teams.
How long is the event?
The planned build period is approximately 14 days, followed by judge review and a public final for 10 finalist teams.
What will teams build?
Teams build a real quantitative decision system around a common market-oriented problem. The exact challenge, submission format, and rubric will be released officially.
Can teams use AI?
The operating charter anticipates advanced tools, including agents and machine learning, but the final permitted-use and disclosure policy is not yet published.
Are there final dates?
No public event dates are finalized on this site. Do not rely on planning documents as registration terms.
